Nepal is a land of diverse climate and biodiversity due to its very steep topography that has a great variation of altitude.  The vegetation ranges from subtropical forests in the southern plains teeming with rare wildlife, to alpine meadows and coniferous forests in the north, which also hosts numerous species of flora and fauna - an impressive 848 species of birds, resident as well as migratory, have been recorded in Nepal so far.  So it is possible to travel the entire stretch of the kingdom doing nothing but bird watching.  The following itinerary is just one of many itineraries that can be put together to cater to the needs of the most ardent bird lovers and avid wildlife connoisseurs.
