The featured tour is one of the most popular itineraries in Nepal as it packages most of the sites and activities that can be undertaken in Nepal without going for lengthy and arduous treks. The three touristic areas of Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan form a golden triangle where one can undergo a multitude of different experiences. Starting with a visit of the cultural sites in Kathmandu valley, the tour culminates in the of Chitwan. In between you will experience the thrill of white water rafting, a bit of hiking with awesome mountain views and sightseeing of Pokhara which is one of the most beautiful cities of the country.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu. Meet, accord welcome and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: AM: Kathmandu city vitisting Kathmandu Durbar Square, Ason Bazaar, Macchindra Bahal and Swyambhunath Stupa. PM: Sightseeing of Patan city including Tibetan Refugee Camp. Overnight at your hotel. (B)
Day 03: After breakfast check out of your hotel and drive (about 3 hours) to raft put in point for halfday Trishuli (3 hours) river rafting on one of very exciting stretch of the river. Then further drive (3 hours) to Pokhara. Upon arrival check in to your hotel. (B)
Day 04: AM: Hiking excursion to Shanti Stupa. PM: Half day tour of Pokhara city visiting Bindya Bashini Temple, Old Bazaar, Mahendra Pool (bridge over Seti Gorge), Davis fall and one hour boating in lake Phewa. Ovenight at a hotel (B)
Day 05: Drive about 5 to hrs. to the Royal Chitwan National Park (a World Heritage site). Transfer to a jungle lodge. PM: elephant back safari. (B,L,D)
Day 06: Full day of jungle activities: canoe ride, nature walk or safari. Tharu dance or slide show in the evening. (B,L,D)
Day 07: After breakfast some unfinished jungle activities or at rest. Drive back to Kathmandu via Daman. Dinner and cultural show in the evening at a local restaurant
Day 08: Free till transfer to the airport to connect your onward journey.
