Buddha Air has announced two additional sectors on its extensive network.  Starting from 27 September 2011 the airlines will operate on Pokhara - Bhirahawa - Pokhara sectors with its 19 seater, Beechcraft 1900D aircraft.  The flight, long awaited, is expected to leverage the upscale tourist inflow to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.

Similarly, the moutnain flight from Pokhara, which will offer a scenic aerial tour of the mountain range in the western Nepal, will have frequency of 2 daily flights in the morning.  The beginning of flight is expected to increase the length of stay.

The 15 minutes Pokhara - Bhairahawa fligth, is priced at at USD 65.00 for tourists and Rs. 2650.00 for Nepalese Passengers, one way; while the 30 minutes moutnain flight will have a single price of USD 90.00 for both the tourists and the locals.
