As Nepal is hosting the Nepal Tourism Year 2011 (NTY 2011), the local people of Myagdi and Mustang districts have developed a new trekking trail to offer new attractions for visitors. The substitute trail connects Benshigaon of Narchyang Village Development Committee (VDC) of Myagdi to Kunjo VDC of Mustang. "After the displacement of the old trail after the construction of roads, the locals have developed the new trail," said Tej Bahadur Gurung, headmaster of Prabha Secondary School. Trekkers now can reach Kunjo village through Tatopani and Narchyang. "We have developed this trail to lengthen trekkers stay in this area, said Tek Bahadur Pun, chairman of Narchyang tourism coordination committee. Some of the chief attractions of the trail include the Magar settlements, their tradition and culture, Rupse and Narchyang springs, Andha Galchhi, alpine vegetations, and a breathtaking view of various mountain ranges.
